Comstock's The Den (Senior Center) serves
a noon meal
five times a week at the center, and delivers meals to
Comstock, Sargent, and Arcadia. We welcome anyone who wants to bring a guest
or a group to join us for a nice home cooked dinner. Monday through
Friday the Den opens at 7 a.m. where local men gather for
coffee and ladies gather at 9 a.m. Please come and
gather for fun and fellowship. Dinner served at 12 p.m.;
reservations are needed by 9:30 a.m. We provide In Home services and chore programs

THE LAST RESORT is located south of Comstock at
the Arcadia Diversion Dam on the Middle Loup River. It
includes a large cabin for rent while hunting and fishing
on the grounds or for family reunions, parties or just
a weekend getaway. It comes completely furnished with kitchen
appliances, dishes, and linens. All you have to do is bring

RIVERVIEW DOWSE HOMESTEAD is

mile west out of Comstock, then follow main road for
4 1/2miles past Dowse Sod House. Canoeing, hiking, swimming,
bird trail are available or bring your own horses for
trail riding. Lodging is also available in the bunkhouse
with 7 beds, shower, air conditioning and a fully-equipped
kitchen . Camping hook-ups also available. Rates available
